Rural Station Security

Section 5  •  Chapter 34

Updated Feb. 15, 12 AFE

Selvarin Security Identification
All individuals acting in an official Selvarin security capacity shall carry a valid badge of identification on their person at all times while on duty.

When engaged in public duties, this identification shall be worn on the left front chest, displayed on the outermost layer of clothing, and clearly visible to any individual with whom they interact.

In limited circumstances requiring covert or plainclothes operations, the badge need not be visibly displayed and shall only be required to be carried on the individual’s person. No public display or production of identification shall be required where doing so would compromise an active operation. A detailed record must be kept for any such operations

Imperial Garrisons Authorized
To address growing security concerns, the Selvarin Council authorizes the Galactic Empire to establish garrisons at rural stations and transit hubs on Selvaris.

Expanded Jurisdiction
These garrisons are granted authority to enforce the Imperial Legal Code, Selvarin Accords, Selvarin Legislation, Local Ordinances and respond to threats including sedition, smuggling, and violence within Station grounds and surrounding transit areas.

Local Coordination
Imperial personnel will coordinate with local Selvarin officials when practical. This coordination does not limit Imperial authority to act immediately when security requires it.

Station Flag Display
Each station with an Imperial garrison shall maintain a flagpole in its central square or primary public approach. The Imperial standard shall be flown at the highest position on this pole, with the Selvarin flag permitted to fly beneath it.

Compliance
All station authorities, guilds, and residents must comply with lawful garrison directives. Interference with garrison operations is a violation of the Selvarin Accords and subject to Imperial penalty.
