The Galactic Empire is the oppressive dictatorship controlling the main government of the galaxy, the Senate, with the ultimate goal of controlling all worlds. Thus, the Empire engages in all forms of planetary take-over tactics under the guise of bringing 'peace and order' to the galaxy.
Choosing the Empire Faction is choosing to play the villain. Your Character will have enemies. Expect to be treated with disdain by other Characters, and expect them to actively plot against your Character. Of course, this is In-Game character vs character, and is not against you personally.
The Empire Faction is not an excuse to kill Characters on a whim. Explore all other role-play avenues first before permanently removing a Character from play. Character Death is best when there's an amazing story to tell afterward.
Choosing the Empire means you are committed to playing a Character loyal to the Empire. The traitor-turncoat concept has been overplayed. The Empire Faction needs loyal members to function properly in the game.
The Empire Faction has Objectives to complete each event! Each completed Objective is worth Credits paid to all Faction members regardless of individual participation. Collaborate with your teammates to earn additional rewards for completing all Objectives in an event!
