The Rebellion is composed of small groups of individuals actively fighting against the Empire. Not yet an Alliance as depicted in film, small rebel cells are scattered throughout the galaxy operating separately, often unbeknownst of each other.
Rebels are actively hunted by the Empire. By choosing to play a Rebel, your Character is putting themselves in danger while working to dismantle the Empire, often via covert missions and subterfuge to thwart Empire plans.
The Rebellion Faction is not an excuse to kill Characters on a whim. Explore all other role-play avenues first before permanently removing a Character from play. Character Death is best when there's an amazing story to tell afterward.
Choosing the Rebellion means you are committed to playing a Character loyal to the Rebelion. The traitor-turncoat concept has been overplayed. The Rebel Faction needs loyal members to function properly in the game.
The Rebellion Faction has Objectives to complete each event! Each completed Objective is worth Credits paid to all Faction members regardless of individual participation. Collaborate with your teammates to earn additional rewards for completing all Objectives in an event!
The planet Selvaris, where Galaxy Awaits takes place, enjoyed a few years of peace after the founding of the Galactic Empire. However, rumors persisted of Jedi hiding on the remote forested world eventually leading to the appearance of Imperial forces on Selvaris. In response, small handfuls of individuals brave enough to act against the Empire formed. These rebel groups are spread across the towns and villages across the planet and how each one operates is different as well. Some work in secret, some are out in the open.
Corox Station, where the Galaxy Awaits campsite represents, is known to have a rebel cell. The locally stationed Imperials has made arrests, but the spirit of resistance continues on operating in secret to undermine and even defeat the Imperial Outpost of Corox Station.
