Galactic Basic Standard is the language used by the majority of the galaxy as the common language of their peoples. While spoken Basic is real-world English, written Basic is comprised of glyphs, called Aurebesh, representing each letter of the English alphabet.

You are not required to use or learn written Basic and you are more than welcome to use real-world written English. However, written Basic may be used in Staff-created Credits, emblems, documents, props, and more.
