The Galaxy Awaits LARP is a spy espionage, political intrigue game designed to generate Character-vs-Character (PvP) conflicts. Though there is combat, the game focuses on role-play. Star Wars ‘Disney’ canon is heavily referenced, but we created our own story about an in-canon planet in order to make stories that affect Characters and the local area while not conflicting with in-canon events.
The era is AFE - After the Formation of the Empire. After Revenge of the Sith and before A New Hope falling in the same time as Obi-wan Kenobi and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The Empire is the central, fascist government of the galaxy taking-over planets with an increasingly heavy hand under the guise of peace. Often people to flee to Outer Rim worlds to escape.
One such Outer Rim world is Selvaris, where our game is set. At the edge of the galaxy, Selvaris is a forested world off the beaten path with its own independent government. Typically perfect for those seeking to keep their heads down, but persistent rumors attracted an Imperial battalion stationed in the capital city of Caru.
The game is held in a small lakeside town called Corox Station. Frequented by peoples of all walks of life who, attracted by stories of local ancient mysteries, see Corox Station as a place of opportunity. Even then, an Imperial Outpost occupies a portion of the town thanks to confirmed Jedi and rebel activity.
When you arrive to Corox Station, you will see two groups going about their business; the Imperials and the independent citizens. As you play the game, you may uncover layers of espionage and secret activities, such as political manipulations, a shadow market, thieves and hackers, secretive Force training, and spies infiltrating the Empire and Rebellion.
Your Faction and Role determines your involvement starting point. Choose the Empire or Rebellion to dive into the Faction-vs-Faction conflict, or play an Independent and choose your own path. The rules are designed to give starting Characters enough to be formidable, while still offering room to grow and customize. When you come into the game, you are just as able to make a difference as any other Character you will meet!

Galaxy Awaits heavily references Star Wars canon as portrayed in official movies, TV series, comic books, and novels.
The planet Selvaris, where the game takes place, is canon, but the details about the planet is written by Galaxy Awaits.
We do not use the Legends universe in any of our stories told by staff and players. Any accidental mention of something from Legends in In-Game conversations between characters is considered folklore and therefore not true.
