The planet Selvaris, where Galaxy Awaits takes place, enjoyed a few years of peace after the founding of the Galactic Empire. However, rumors persisted of Jedi and rebels hiding on the remote forested world eventually leading to the appearance of Imperial forces on Selvaris. The Imperial presence is not fully funded by the full might of the Empire, thus is minimal with a battalion stationed in the capitol city, Caru, and small outposts found in certain towns and villages.
Corox Station, where the Galaxy Awaits campsite represents, is home to an outpost designated IOP-554298, or Imperial Outpost of Corox Station. The locally stationed Imperials are tasked with rooting out rebels and Jedi, of course, but also to maintain and grow Imperial presence and control over the area.
Imperial Command is Mission Control and reached via the Holonet, walkie-talkie, or NPC contact currently IG. Do not go to Mission Control camp directly.

Outpost Director is a Title given to a Player Character serving as a point-of-contact for new Characters to the Faction, and the decision-making leadership for the Faction. They are found on the Holonet and IG at events. How an Outpost Director PC is selected (via vote, Rank, etc.) is up to Players to decide.
As a public Faction, the Outpost is a cluster of cabins marked with Imperial flags at the venue during events.
An Objective is a task assigned to the Empire Faction. Players decide how to complete each Objective posted on the Holonet for each event. Each completed Objective is worth Credits paid to all Empire members regardless of individual participation. Please see the Rulebook for bonus and rewards for completing all Objectives in an event.
The Empire and the Rebellion are trying to defeat one another. A Defeat occurs when all PC members of a Faction either change Factions, or are removed from gameplay for the remainder of the event. The defeated Faction becomes secret, and the victorious Faction becomes public, until the next Defeat.
If the Empire is Defeated, Mission Control maintains NPC contacts for new Player Characters filling the Empire Faction.
If you choose the Empire Faction, you are playing a Character loyal to the Empire. The traitor turncoat, "Agent Kallus", concept has been overplayed. This Faction needs loyal members to function properly in the game.
Please see the Rulebook for details.
